Giorgio Micale, Professor of Chemical Engineering at Università di Palermo, was invited on Italy’s RAI 1 to discuss about the research activities of his group, including the REvivED water project. His interview was aired on the 22nd March 2017. This was a great opportunity to raise awareness about electrodialysis application.

REvivED at Aquatech 2017

The European Desalination Society managed the Desalination Pavilion at Aquatech 2017, which took place in Amsterdam from 31 October to 3 of November 2017. Aquatech Amsterdam is a trade exhibition for process, drinking and waste water, with a visitor attendance of 21,000 from 139 countries and over 850 exhibitors every two years.

Contribution to "Nanotechnology based Innovative Applications for the Environment"

On 24- 27 September 2017, the 2nd International Conference on Nanotechnology based Innovative Applications for the Environment was organised in Rome, Italy. The University of Palermo wasthere, to present their work within the REvivED water project. A poster was presented with the title: "Experimental Analysis of a Continuously Operated Reverse Electrodialysis Unit Fed with Wastewaters".
